KIPAT KAHUMBU

BolgArt: a unique project in Northern Norway aiming to unify art, culture and dance with nature, tradition and history.

BolgArt was originally planned to premier as a performance on the 15th August 2020. 

However due to the pandemic we have had to reorganise the projects unvailing.

Despite this we have dedicated our time to find innovative ways to keep BolgArt alive and kicking! 

We have decided to bring Bolga and the Meløy area to you through a series of short films; stories about the tradition, handicraft, hard work and people of Bolga - face to face with nature and vividly described through dance and music.

This is our gift to you: a digital show in five acts:

Iron, Yarn, Wood, Fish and Thread.
