KIPAT KAHUMBU

Saffron Is a Solo Chinese pole performance that was created around the questions 'Who am I?'  To which Kipat would often ask 'do I define myself by what I want to be or what I do? If I am an artist because I spend time making art then perhaps I am just as much a train sitter or teeth brusher?'

 

 Saffron is based on self reflection and is named after the colour of walls in Kipat's childhood bedroom . The four walls in which he grew and dreamt within.
